Aslam K Purayil is a visionary Director of Photography whose journey in cinema began at the prestigious Mindscreen Film Institute in Chennai. With a keen eye for visual storytelling, he earned the Best Cinematographer Award at the 45th Kerala Film Critics Awards in 2022 for his work on the Malayalam film 'Salute', directed by Rosshan Andrrews.

His short film '405' earned international recognition at the 2020 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and Dharamshala International Film Festival, while 'Visitor' was officially selected for the International Documentary & Short Film Festival of Kerala.

His body of work spans across languages and formats, including 'Saturday Night' (Malayalam feature, Rosshan Andrrews), 'Trial of Satyam Kaushik' (Hindi Cineplay, Sajit Warrier), 'Masterpeace' (web series, Sreejith S), along with a range of TV commercials for leading brands.
